That got me to thinking....I'm here in Dallas with no family and I really don't like that. I have sisters/nieces in Oklahoma City, but there is no guarantee that they will stay there...they're only 3 hours away. The rest of my family are in Baltimore and New Jersey and to be honest, I'm not that excited about moving back East.
So when Mel graduates high school (in 4 years), where do I go? I won't move out of Dallas until then...but the thing is: he will be grown and I will be on my own.
So this is the question: How important is it to live near family? Do you base your move on that one piece first? But if you don't, is that stupid?
